Because our schedule is to arrive at Dunhuang by train in the morning and return to Lanzhou by train that day; And avoid the sun. So our itinerary in Dunhuang is different from that of many tourists. In the morning, we go to Mingsha mountain crescent spring, and in the afternoon, we go to Mogao Grottoes. Master Su first took us to a small shop in the city for breakfast, and then went to the first destination Mingsha mountain crescent spring scenic spot.

Before going to the hillside, tourists have to get off the camels. They can choose to climb up the top of the mountain by rope ladder and slide down by skateboard, or they can choose to rest in the shed. So give up skateboarding, slowly climb to the shed to rest. After the other two tourists of our same camel team slide down the slope, they ride on camels and go down to Mingsha mountain.

When you get to the place where you get off the camel, you can walk not far. Yueya spring is surrounded by Mingsha mountain. Its shape is like a crescent moon. Although Yueya spring is now recharging the river water to replenish the water level of Yueya spring, it is not easy to keep a clear spring in Dunhuang today when the annual rainfall is 39.9 mm and the evaporation is 2490 mm.

Out of the scenic spot, master Su took us to Daji sauce donkey yellow noodle restaurant. When I entered the store, there were a lot of customers. After looking at the situation of each table, we chose a table that was almost finished and waited. The mother and daughter who shared the table with us were local people. While waiting for the dishes to be served, I looked around and found that most of the tourists were attracted by the recommendation of others. There are several tables of diners talking about Shanghai, especially cordial. When the donkey meat we ordered came up, we took a bite with chopsticks. It's delicious. It's really worthy of "dragon meat in the sky, donkey meat on the ground".

Our train back to Lanzhou leaves at 19:22, and we have to find a place to have dinner. My sister and I are a little uncomfortable. We went to the museum opposite the ticket office, and then asked master Su to drive to the railway station. When we got to the railway station, master Su said that we could have dinner in the underground square of the railway station. After paying the Charter fee for one day (200 yuan), we got off the train. It's still early. I really don't want to walk. I decided to go to the waiting room to have a rest.

The butter flowers, murals and embroidery of Ta'er temple are known as "three unique arts". On the walls around the Sutra hall, we can see many colorful murals of hundreds of years; Cut various colors of silk into various shapes, such as Buddha statues, birds and animals, fill them with wool or cotton, and then embroider them on the cloth curtain. Because of the weather, I didn't see another butter flower.

Looking at the rape fields outside the car window and the mountains in the distance, we all felt that it was a wise decision to rest in Datong County instead of driving at night.

The Yuanshan flower stand in qingshizui town of Menyuan can't be found on the navigator. We first drove along provincial road 227. When we got to qingshizui Town, we saw a gas station by the side of the road. We asked the way before we found the entrance of the scenic spot. At this time, it was nearly 11 noon, the parking lot was full of cars, and people in twos and threes were walking on the hillside. Buy a ticket for the scenic spot (30 yuan / person) and go up the steps. When you get to the top of the mountain and look down, it's spectacular. It's full of gold. It's bigger than the rape field in Wuyuan, Jiangxi Province. Some fields planted highland barley, and rape flower field to form a gap, Sha is good-looking. There is a field where highland barley is used to grow characters. It is said that the characters are different every year. This year is a "beautiful home".

Starting from Menyuan, every time you go to a scenic spot, you can see a scene, that is, the owner's family is playing with their pet dog, and they are all self driving.

After getting off Lianhuo Expressway and entering S213, it's already 17:00. It's not possible to enter the scenic spot today. Think about driving to the gate of the scenic spot to get familiar with the road conditions for the next day. When we arrived at the gate of the scenic spot of Zhangye Danxia National Geopark in Linze County, the staff directed us to stop. We were very surprised. We asked the staff and learned that the ticket selling time of the scenic spot was 19:15, and now it is 18:15. Wow, big big surprise, personality explosion, it's really another village. Stop the car immediately, take out the reader magazine from the trolley box, and rush to the ticket office to buy tickets (the ticket is 40 yuan / person, the sightseeing bus is 20 yuan / person, we have 2014-11 issue of reader magazine, and the tickets enjoy 50% discount). yeah!

There are four viewing platforms in Zhangye Danxia National Geopark, which can be reached by sightseeing bus. No.2 and No.3 viewing platforms are more suitable for close viewing, No.1 and No.4 viewing platforms are suitable for panoramic viewing, No.1 is large-scale, and No.4 is the most colorful, which is suitable for watching sunset. If there is no shelter or beverage in the scenic area, you should pay attention to sun protection and water supplement after entering the scenic area.

Take a break and continue on the road. There are grasslands on both sides of S204 provincial highway, rolling snow mountains in the distance, and occasionally grazing sheep, which is comparable to Highway 50 in the United States. Along the way, less than 10 cars meet or overtake our cars. Finally, we saw the sign of Bayi glacier, and our car drove up 50 kilometers of gravel road. This path is much easier to drive than the S213 provincial road we took earlier. Finally, I understand why the Chartered bus master refused to come. That's the gravel road 100 kilometers back and forth. It hurts the tires.

It was about 18:00 when we arrived at Bayi glacier. We saw the altitude table, 4530 meters!!! My brother-in-law and I got out of the car, and my sister took a rest in the car. When she was on the way to the glacier, her head began to ache, and she had some high symptoms.

The parking place is about 300 meters away from the glacier. Looking at the glacier from a distance, the ice wall and ice cap that are tens of meters high stand there, which is very shocking. It may be due to seasonal factors, or it may be due to climate warming. Bayi glacier is melting a little, and some of it is black. Go to the foot of the glacier, close to see Bayi glacier, reach out to touch the glacier, a cool feeling into the skin. I don't know if the Bayi glacier can remain in its original state without being affected and polluted by global warming and human destruction.

About 22:00 to Qilian County Babao Town, looking for a few hotels, are full of lobbyists. Later, I saw that the facade light and the lighting in the lobby of Yulin business building were very bright. I thought the hotel was good. After I went in and asked, the standard room (420 yuan / room, including double breakfast) reserved by a team was cancelled. We decided to check in after seeing the room facilities. When parking in the parking lot, chatting with the security guard, I learned that Yulin business building is the best hotel in the town, full every day. Is it because God knows that we have been bumped on the road that we can have a good rest at night? I put away my luggage and went outside to find a restaurant. I was so tired that I wanted to have a rest early, so I ordered beef noodles. After eating, go back to the hotel to have a rest.

Yulin business building was opened in 2014, and several floors have not been decorated; Parking lot with special person on duty; With free WiFi, it's hard to connect. Recommended.

When I kept photographing the moon, I missed the opportunity to see the living Buddha in Huangnan area. What a pity_ T

At about 11:30, I left Zhuoer mountain scenic area, went back to Babao town and found a restaurant for lunch. We ordered fried sliced pork with Qilian yellow mushrooms, fried noodles with artillery, and dumplings in sour soup. We can't bear the taste of sour dumplings. Ah, as a child, we have to waste this bowl of sour dumplings. After checking out, I plan to go to Chaka Salt Lake and then stay in Heimahe township. Out of Qilian County, drive along S204 provincial road. Passing by dadongshushan pass (4120.6m above sea level), I didn't feel sick. See a few cars parked on the side of the road, scattered a few people taking pictures.

We arrived at Zhuoma's home at about 21:00. We made a reservation and paid the deposit before departure, so we checked in quickly. When handling, from time to time to see the Chartered master with passengers to check in. Zhuoma family is one of the Inns Near Qinghai Lake in the area of Heima river. Recently, Zhuoma's new business hotel is a standard room with independent sanitation and 24-hour hot water supply. We stay in a standard room which is not close to the road (480 yuan / room, 500 yuan / room by the road, including 15 yuan / person for shuangzao).

Chaka Salt Lake is also called Chaka, which means salt pond in Tibetan. It is the smallest of the four major salt lakes in the Qaidam Basin. It is also rated as one of the "55 places one must visit in one's life" by the National Tourism Geography Magazine. It is as famous as Ta'er temple, Qinghai Lake and Mengda Tianchi, and is known as the "four great sceneries of Qinghai".
