Preface
The plan to travel on the 11th National Day has been considered for a long time. Originally, I wanted to go to France, Italy and Switzerland. Later, because I started too slowly, there were no places left. So I continued to turn the direction. I saw that Ctrip's journey of an in-depth tour in Austria and Germany (because I took my mother, so I chose a team tour) was not bad. I described it to my mother. My mother readily agreed, so I placed an order, Prepare your visa information and wait for your departure~
(Downtown Vienna)
Of course, in the process of waiting, we can't hide our excitement. As a little expert in strategy recognized by my friends, although I'm a team tour, it's necessary to learn about the scenic spots passed by Austria and Germany.

About visa
Austria and Germany apply for Schengen visa. According to the principle of the first country of entry and the longest country of stay, we first enter Austria and spend more days in Austria than Germany, so we apply for Schengen visa from Austria.
The information on the job is: Chinese mainland passport, photo (2 copies), ID card copy, copy of household register, marriage certificate, English Service Certificate (Ctrip can be downloaded, template signed, and official seal), unit copy (copy of business license or copy of organization code card, official seal). Asset Certificate (3-6 months salary card or savings card statement, need to be sealed by the bank), personal information form, visa application form (provided by Ctrip, only need to sign in the corresponding column), breach of contract guarantee (those who meet the guarantee free conditions can not provide)
*Since we set out before October, we don't need to enter our fingerprints for the time being. After that, all Schengen visa applicants who set out in October have to go to the consulate to enter their fingerprints.

About WiFi
The journey of Ctrip international travel has WiFi, which is put in the leader's place, and the leader is also super responsible. During the tour guide's explanation, WiFi is turned off, so that you can listen to the tour guide's historical introduction and precautions carefully. After the tour guide's explanation, WiFi will be turned on, so that you can participate in the "holiday photography competition" in the circle of friends.
There are also some group members who rent WiFi by themselves. Of course, I didn't rent it. In this way, I have more time to feel the beautiful scenery with my eyes and heart~
About tax refund
Austria: 75 Euro rebate
Germany: 25 Euro rebate
About time difference
Austria and Germany have a 6-hour time difference with China. For example, Shanghai is at 10 a.m., Austria and Germany are at 4 a.m.
Well, there's so much nonsense. You must be tired. I'll send you the travel notes.
D1: starting from Shanghai
On the day of departure, Shanghai was experiencing the edge effect of typhoon Rhododendron. Sometimes the rain was heavy and stopped. When it was heavy, it poured down like falling down. So I was worried that today's flight would be delayed.
Check the weather, Vienna is sunny weather, suddenly the heart of the haze also swept away a lot.
Luggage is packed early, while the rain is small, mother and daughter quickly called a taxi to the subway station.
Thanks to our early departure, there were not many people in the subway all the way. When we arrived at the airport, we immediately sent wechat to inform the leader that we were the first to arrive. We found a place to sit down and have a rest, dried our umbrellas and waited for departure.
The luggage regulations of Lufthansa
Economy class 1 / 23kg, economy class 2 / 23kg, business class 2 / 32kg, first class 3 / 32kg
There was a slight delay in the plane, and the stewardess began to distribute the menu after take-off.
I chose roast beef with vanilla potatoes and broccoli for dinner and veal sausage for breakfast. Then I just ate and forgot to photograph the delicious food. It's really the nature of eating~
D2: Munich transfer to Vienna
After more than ten hours of long flight (in fact, waking up, it's not so long), we finally arrived at Munich Airport.
Due to the delay and the upcoming flight, Lufthansa's staff have been waiting for us at the exit and took us all the way to the boarding gate of the next flight. On the way, they stopped patiently to wait for the passengers who didn't keep up.
Although we walked fast all the way, we still couldn't catch the plane. Lufthansa staff patiently helped us change the boarding pass for the next flight. Here, to the staff of Lufthansa, 10000 likes!
(Munich Airport)
The flight changed this time is Vienna Airlines (Lufthansa's shared flight). The stewardess in red uniform is really beautiful
After about an hour's flight, we finally arrived at our destination, Vienna. Our guide Sister Maria (a kind sister from Taiwan) has been waiting for us at the airport exit~
(Danube, because it's not the big sun, Danube doesn't show us blue. It's a little pity ~)
The first stop of the whole journey is Vienna City Park.
Vienna City Park
Vienna City Park (German: Wiener Stadtpark) is located in the inner side of the ring road in the east of the old city, with an area of about 65000 square meters. It is the most popular park for tourists in Vienna. The park spans both banks of the Vienna River and is connected by bridges in the middle.
The most famous one in the park is the golden statue of John Strauss~
Past the city hall
[Viana town hall]
The city hall of Vienna was built from 1872 until 1883. To replace the old town hall on wipplingerstrasse street. This is a new Gothic style building.
(the statue of Athena at the gate of the city hall)
Towering architecture, blue sky, this is Europe
(in the public park, the statue of Princess Sissi)
[Princess Sissi]
Princess Sissi is Princess Elizabeth, the daughter of Duke Maximilian Joseph of Bavaria, nicknamed Sissi. Her full name is Elisabeth Amalia Eugenia von Wittelsbach, Queen of Austria and queen of Hungary.
After that, we passed through Hofburg Palace
[Hofburg Palace]
Hofburg Palace (German: Hofburg) is a palace building located in Vienna, Austria. Hofburg Palace was once the winter palace of the emperor of the Habsburg dynasty( Summer Palace is meiquan palace. Today's Hofburg Palace is the site of Austria's presidential residence.
(the statue of Prince Ogan, invincible in the Turkish war)
(Hofburg Palace)
On the way, I passed the Vienna Museum of art history
[Museum of art history in Vienna] kunsthistorische Museum Wien (German: KHm Wien) is a famous art museum in Austria, with eight branches. The main Pavilion is located in Maria tracia square in the central section of Vienna's Ring Road, opposite to the Hofburg Palace. It was funded by the Habsburg family who ruled Europe for nearly seven centuries. In addition to a glimpse of the royal collection, you can also enjoy the afterglow of the prosperous Austro Hungarian Empire. Another seven are located in Vienna and Innsbruck.
(like Tony Leung, I'll feed a pigeon, too)
Lunch is a Chinese group meal. After lunch, we set out for meiquan palace
(Miss Sissi, I'm here ~)
Meiquan Palace
The summer palace in Habsburg, Austria, also known as "meiquan Palace", is located in the southwest of the capital Vienna. Meiquan palace is named after a spring. It used to be an open green space. Once, Emperor Matthias came here for hunting. He drank a spring of fresh water and called it "beautiful spring". In 1743, Queen marige Tricia ordered the palace to be built here, where the magnificent palace and Baroque garden appeared. It covers an area of 26000 square meters, second only to the palace of Versailles in France.
Meiquan palace witnessed the legend of Sissi and the glory of Queen Maria tracia. Since photography is forbidden inside meiquan palace, I only took photos of the exterior and garden of meiquan palace. I'll leave you to feel the interior with your eyes and heart in the future~
Is it like the love tunnel in Ukraine
(Arc de Triomphe and Poseidon fountain)
In the evening, it's free on kletner street
[kertner Street]
It is located in the famous commercial street in the central area of Vienna. It is also a famous shop street in Vienna, with boutiques, restaurants and open-air cafes. It is a good place for shopping.
(St. Stephen's Catholic Church)
[St. Stephen's Catholic Church]
St. Stephen's Cathedral is one of the most famous Gothic churches in the world. It is another famous building on the landscape belt of Vienna, and also the landmark of Vienna. St. Stephen's Cathedral was built at the end of the 12th century. The original building was built in 1147 in Romanesque style. After two fires, it was built into a Gothic building in the 14th century. After the Turkish bombardment and the bombing of the Second World War, it was built to today's scale after the war. The high spire is 137 meters, second only to the Cologne Cathedral in Germany. The central spire of the great spire is surrounded by numerous small spires, like a dazzling crown in Vienna. Every once in a while, the bell tower will give out a melodious sound. It is located in the heart of Vienna, so it is also known as the "heart of Vienna".
I happened to meet a mass in the church~
Why don't you come to Vienna and try the SAH cake? Hehe, it's bought separately. You can order a cup of coffee and add a small piece of cake in the shop, but the shop often has to line up, so the comrades of team tour must master the time~
[SAH cake]
Sachertote is a unique chocolate cake of the Sacher hotel in Vienna. The cake consists of two layers of sweet chocolate and two layers of apricot jam. There are chocolate chips on the top of the cake. It is a national treasure of Austria.
After eating the cake, it's time to go shopping~
D3: Merkel Abbey + halstadt
Starting from the hotel in the morning, today's destination is halstadt, passing through Melk Abbey.
It's sunny and a beautiful day has begun~
(Melk Abbey)
[Melk Abbey]
Stiftmelk is a Benedictine monastery. It is located on the rocks of the town of Merk in Lower Austria, overlooking the Danube River and adjacent to the beautiful wahao River Valley.
The sky is intoxicating blue, and the yellow of the monastery makes the sky beautiful
(I can't help taking a picture with the fountain)
(mural on top of arch)
Then he drove to halstadt, the most beautiful town, and had a Chinese group meal on the way
Halstadt, here we are. It's beautiful~~
[halstadt]
Hallstatt is a village in salzkamergut, upper Austrian state, Austria. It is located on the Bank of Lake Hallstatt, with an altitude of 511 meters. In December 2005, it had 923 residents. Halstadt's "Hall" may be derived from the ancient Kert language "salt", named after the salt mine near the village. Historically, this area became rich because of salt. Therefore, it is also called "the most beautiful town in the world" or "the oldest salt city in the world".

(on the way back, I met a rehearsal band. It should be a performance in the town square. I really want to see it, but we don't have time. What a pity ~)
D4: Lake King + Salzburg
Good morning, go! Let's go to King Lake!
I have to take the German highway to get to King Lake, so my mobile phone signal has been switching between the operators in Austria and Germany ~ hahaha
Line up, board, wonderful journey is about to begin

(looking from the distance)
Half the way, the captain will stop the ship, take out the trumpet and let the passengers listen to the echo. It's really wonderful.
(good clear water)
(full view)
After visiting King's Lake, we set out to Salzburg. After lunch, we went to the food alley in the afternoon
(Mirabel palace, we're just passing by ~)
[Mirabel palace]
Mirabel palace is the place where Cardinals hide their treasures. There are many characters built according to Greek mythology in Mirabel garden, including dwarf garden, Baroque Museum and nature theatre. Next to the garden are the conference building and the sanatorium. The famous "sound of music" is the scene taken here.
I met a performance artist and received a hand kiss.
[kiss hands]
Hand kissing is a kind of cultural heritage and one of the necessary etiquette in western communication.
(it turns out that there is such a love lock bridge everywhere)
[Fort Salzburg]
Fort Hohensalzburg was built in 1077 on moenchsberg. It was built by Archbishop gerberhad. Later, it was expanded by Bishop Leonhard von krochach (1495-1519). The fortress completely inherited the style of central Europe castle. Especially worth mentioning is the medieval Marquis's room and Castle Museum. Since 1892, you can easily get to the castle by the cable car on the castle path.

(busy alley)
(the child's performance is really good, applause ~ warm applause ~)
(blingbling's watchdog?)
(we took care of the dinner by ourselves. We went to find the fried pork chops we were thinking about. For the Chinese people who don't have much appetite, two people can order a fried pork chops. In addition, the waiter has pictures in his mobile phone. Tell him the simple English words, and he will find the pictures for the customers.)
D5: Swarovski crystal world + Innsbruck town
It's a beautiful morning again. Today's trip is blingbling's~
After arriving at Swarovski crystal world, I had three Western dishes in the restaurant
[Swarovski crystal world]
Located in Wattens, a suburb of Innsbruck, Swarovski kristallwelten is the largest and most famous crystal Museum in the world. It is also the headquarters of Swarovski company, a famous crystal manufacturer. After visiting Swarovski crystal world, we went to a small town in Innsbruck.
(golden roof)
[golden roof]
The golden roof is at the end of hassofeidi street in the old city of Innsbruck, Austria. It was once known as the building of the new palace. The golden roof, built in 1500, is a late Gothic style building to commemorate the engagement of Maximilian I. In 1494-1496, Maximilian I appointed Nicholas to transform the former dilapidated tower into a Gothic domed palace box, where he could watch the games and plays in the square.
(Anna Zhu)
[Anna Zhu]
Anna Zhu is the symbol of Innsbruck mountain city. She stands on the street of Maria tracia in the center of Innsbruck. In 1706, representatives of the State Council of Tyrol with privileged rank jointly funded the construction of the Anna pillar to commemorate the withdrawal of Bavarian troops from Innsbruck in 1703. The pillar was built on July 26, which coincides with Anna's naming day, hence the name of the pillar. Anna column is a red marble column with a Corinthian style in ancient Greece. Above the column is a statue of the Virgin Mary, who looks dignified at the snow mountain in the distance. On the pedestal of Anna Zhu, we can also see statues of Tyrol's patron saint and other saints.
The dinner is a three course western food - fried pork chops (this time, it's a plate for one person, a lot of food, too much to eat ~)
Apple pie is good
D6: Swan Castle + Rothenberg
The gloomy weather in Germany depressed us for a long time. Today's highlight is the dream castle - Neuschwanstein Castle~
(Old Swan Castle / high Swan Castle)
[high Swan Castle]
Schloss Hohenschwangau, also known as old swan castle or Hohenschwangau castle, is a castle located in Hohenschwangau village, Bavaria, Germany.
(group photo of carriage and high Swan Castle)
We chose to go up the mountain by bus, and on the way back we were going to take a carriage. As a result, several foreigners who didn't obey the order and cut in the line had no interest at all, so we went down the mountain directly. Unfortunately, we didn't take a carriage.
(even if the weather is bad, I'll make your picture beautiful ~)
[New Swan Castle]
New Swan Stone Castle (English: New Swan Stone Castle, German: Schloss Neuschwanstein) is a building in the late 19th century. It is located in the southwest of Bavaria, Germany, adjacent to Schloss Hohenschwangau (also known as old Swan Castle), about 4 km from the town of Fussen, and not far from the border between Germany and Austria.
Because the suspension bridge is under repair, I can't get past it. I didn't take the front photo of Swan Castle. What a pity~
(panorama, swan castle in autumn)
Swan Castle needs to enter according to the serial number on the ticket. Similarly, photography is not allowed inside swan castle~
(you can only see the prototype of Disney Sleeping Beauty Castle from the model ~)
(Sissi and Franz)
When we visit Swan Castle, we drive to Rotenberg
(quiet town)
The special snack of small town -- snowball
(gift car)
(all kinds of nutcrackers)
(panoramic view of rottenburg garden, it's foggy because of the rain)
(furnishings at the door)
D7: Heidelberg
Heidelberg is also cloudy, the weather in Germany is not as bright as Austria~
(Heidelberg bridge)
Heidelberg
Heidelberg is a famous city of tourism and culture in Germany. Heidelberg is situated on the banks of the river NECA. Here, the Neka river flows from the narrow and steep odenwald Valley to the Rhine River Valley and joins the Rhine River at Mannheim, 20 kilometers northwest of Heidelberg. The famous Heidelberg castle is located on the mountain 200 meters above the sea level of the Neka River, overlooking the narrow old city of Heidelberg.
(on the ancient bridge, the statue of kurfuersten Karl Theodor)
(overlooking the ruins of Heidelberg Castle)
(it's a pity that I have a rest on Monday, but I didn't experience it.)
[student's kiss chocolate]
There is a beautiful and romantic story about students' kiss chocolate. It is said that the noble lady who was studying in Heidelberg at that time met a young student in Mr. konoser's coffee shop. However, the godmother's tight control prevented them from expressing their sincerity. So Mr. konoser made a special kind of soft chocolate cake, named it "student's kiss", let young students express their mind through it. Finally, the godmother also accepted the "kiss of the students". Today, the chocolate shop is adjacent to Mr. Connor's coffee shop, and this chocolate is still a romantic way for people to express their love.
Heidelberg Castle
Heidelberg castle is located on the top of the king's throne. There are many places of interest. After several times of expansion in history, it has formed a mixture of Gothic style, Baroque style and Renaissance style. It is a masterpiece of the German Renaissance. The main entrance of the castle is carved with Armored Warriors, the central garden has fountains and four granite columns, surrounded by concert hall, glass hall and other buildings. Most of the rooms in the ancient city are now open to tourists. Some well preserved halls can still be used for banquets and artistic performances. Standing on the city skyline, you can see the boundless vineyards. Heidelberg's "big barrel" and cellar, which can store 220000 liters of wine, are the most attractive reasons for tourists in Heidelberg.
Visit Heidelberg castle can also take the cable car up and down, we just filled the team, so the round-trip ticket including castle is 6 euro per person
(overlooking the old bridge from the castle)
(big barrel)
Autumn is the time to harvest chestnuts
After visiting Heidelberg, we will go to Frankfurt~
(dinner, three course western food - German sausage)
(beer fermented with wheat)
This amount... I said I'm holding up again
