From the South Temple along the South Street South, walk about 10 minutes to Yangchun lane. This is a building that resembles the Republic of China. After having enough food, I strolled to the nearby Xihui park. The admission fee of the park is 70 yuan, and the tickets ordered online in advance are only 60 yuan, mainly including Huishan temple, the second spring in the world and Jichang Garden. Xihui park is located in a small area between Xishan and Huishan, where there are many famous mansions and private gardens, as well as many cultural relics.

If time is short and you can only visit one scenic spot, Jichang Garden is definitely a good choice. The 15 acre garden was built in the Ming Dynasty. Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong visited the garden six times during their southern tour. Emperor Qianlong imitated the Huishan garden in the summer palace in Beijing.

A corner of Jichang Garden is also planted with plum blossom. This season is the best time for plum blossom to open, attracting many tourists. Before they came near, they floated round and round.

After staying in the hotel, I come out to have a meal. Wuxi sauce spareribs is the local specialty, which can be bought in supermarkets all over the country. This one is sweet and sour spareribs, soft and fragrant.
