Why do you like Wuzhen?

When my friend suggested that I go to Wuzhen, I thought he was no different from Zhouzhuang, Tongli and so on. Apart from the beautiful scenery of the water town, it was the altered petty bourgeois style houses, the vulgar tourism culture, the over packaged history, the national stereotyped souvenirs, and the high prices

But when I came to Wuzhen, I saw an unusual world, a pure world.

My friend said that if you want to go to Wuzhen, you have to go to xizha. It's a Truman's world, a world that doesn't exist in itself, a world designed entirely with ideals. Sure enough, from the moment I entered xizha scenic area, I felt his difference. I couldn't help but put myself into the scene. I don't know whether people designed the town or the town designed us.

The river flows around the town, and you can only enter it by ferry. On the one hand, it adds a sense of mystery to the town, and on the other hand, it provides a very interesting experience for tourists. In the planning of the whole town, hotels, inns, restaurants, bars, fields, cultural scenic spots and landscape nodes have been carefully planned. Walking in the alleys, you can feel calm and surprise, and never feel bored and sleepy. So we unconsciously, with those surprises, went into the designed scenery. The town was like a huge set. I was the role, performing myself hidden in my heart.

I have an experience. Whether it's a tourist attraction or a restaurant, the evaluation of its grade and management can often be seen from the toilet. The public toilet in Wuzhen xizha absolutely reflects the excellent management mode here. Even during the National Day holiday, the tourists in the alleys are as busy as the subway in Beijing. There is no garbage on the streets and the toilet is still very clean at any time. How did they do it? In addition, Wuzhen is different from the general tourist attractions. There are no disordered hawkers, no vicious competition, and the business atmosphere is peaceful. How did they do it? Many people who have been to Wuzhen will choose to come to Wuzhen again, even if they only have one weekend to fly from Beijing. Why and how do they do it?

Sitting on the steps of the open-air theater, I met the old man sweeping the floor and chatted with him. I asked him, how much do you earn as a cleaner? 50 a day, he said. Who will pay you? He said that the whole Wuzhen west gate is operated by a management company. Whether it's a commentator, a boatman, a battery car driver or a cleaner, they are all paid by the company. Later, when we rented a boat for sightseeing, we chatted with the boatman. It was the same answer. All the cruise ships and ferries were operated by a unified management company.

We also found that in Wuzhen, there are no similar shops. Every restaurant or specialty store has only one, and the price of snacks is not expensive. These prices are strictly controlled by the management company. Those who have been to xizha of Wuzhen must have met the old man who bought a popsicle at Qiaotou. This popsicle is also the only one in xizha. It has been 2 yuan for so many years. It is said that because there is no competition and the customers are stable, the annual profit will be 300000 yuan.

(it's too early. The popsicle man at bridgehead hasn't come out yet.)

To maintain the purity of the ancient town, environmental awareness is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. When we were eating at the mutton noodle restaurant, the waiter told us to eat as much as we wanted, and didn't let us pack it and take it away. We were puzzled and almost quarreled with others. However, the store owner said that the management company was afraid that the lunch boxes would not be environmentally friendly and would be thrown around by tourists in the alley, so it was forbidden to use the lunch boxes for packing. If the company found the boxes for us, it would be punished for closing down. So if you need to pack in Wuzhen restaurant, you'd better bring your own lunch box.

So I learned how Wuzhen did it.

Beyond the general tourism real estate, not only to attract you, but also to let you fall in love with Wuzhen, not only in love with his picturesque beauty, but also in its successful management mode - closed, unified, strict, high-quality, not to let tourists have any complaints and regrets. So, she said, go to Wuzhen. So, he came to Wuzhen again.

Enjoy the paradise

In addition to the strong environmental awareness of the operators, Wuzhen also has its own vegetable garden, where green and pollution-free vegetables are planted. Every day, boats will go to the bridgehead in the center of the town to sell vegetables, and the vegetables will also be sent to inns and restaurants. Let's come to Wuzhen west gate tourists, can enjoy healthy food.

Look, this is the fishing boat that sent the fish to the restaurant, and the Osprey! It reminds me of a text I learned in primary school.

The garden is also a favorite place for children.

Living in the water

We stayed in "pillow water", which is a B & B hotel. When the service staff led us to the guest room, I didn't know that I had walked into the interior of the hotel. You would think that this was the old stone lane of water street. When she opened the door for us, I was surprised that all the way was in the hotel. At first, I thought that it was a hotel rebuilt on the basis of ancient dwellings. In fact, it was a brand-new hotel designed according to traditional streets and alleys.

Wuzhen Drama Festival and Wuzhen Grand Theater

Wuzhen Opera Festival is the only commercial activity with such a simple business model. Wuzhen Grand Theater, the main venue of the drama festival, is located in the north of the gate of xizha scenic area, facing the ancient town across the water, avoiding the influence of modern architecture on the scenery of the ancient town. This is a work designed by Yao Renxi, a famous architect in Taiwan. When you enter the ancient town by ferry, you can see a lotus blossom in the distance at a glance. Especially at night, the light reflects like a dream.

reflection

When people are tired of watching fake performances and fancy stunts, the film creates Truman's world for us.

When we are tired of the renovated so-called historical culture and the overdeveloped tourist attractions, we need a real Taoyuan island for our spiritual rest.

Although Wuzhen xizha is a tourist attraction newly designed by architects and planners, it perfectly retains the primitive nature of Jiangnan Water Town and the harmonious nature of people, houses and fields. The successful business model of Wuzhen retains the tradition of business and residence in the ancient town. In such an impetuous age, it retains a sense of tranquility and real beauty, and creates a paradise for people.

Tips:

1. How to get there: take high-speed rail from Beijing to Hangzhou in about 6 hours, and then transfer to Tongxiang station in less than 1 hour. It costs 100 yuan to take a taxi from Tongxiang to the gate of xizha scenic spot in Wuzhen. You can also take a bus to save money.

2. Where to stay: in peak season, you need to book a hotel in advance. In addition to the "pillow water" recommended by me, it is more suitable for families with financial strength and baby. If you are a little couple, it is recommended to choose ordinary B & B, the price is more affordable. If you can live in a room near the water, it is very emotional.

3. What to eat: eating snacks all the way can also ensure that your mouth is not idle and your stomach is not hungry all day. But if a few friends have a dinner together, I don't recommend going to a big restaurant, because it will be very slow for more tourists to serve. Generally, the downstairs of B & B is its own restaurant, which also receives tourists from outside. There are two or three tables in a B & B. the dishes are served quickly and the taste is more distinctive.

Recommended snacks: pickled duck (all kinds of duck legs and duck necks are delicious), Dingsheng cake (a kind of plum shaped rice cake, the filling of bean paste is not very sweet, the jiangmi paper on the outside is very retro, and the paper can also be eaten), shredded radish cake, Tonghexing mutton noodles, Qiaotou old popsicle.

4. What to play: if you like history and culture, you can visit museums such as the contradiction Memorial Hall; If you like literature and art, come to Wuzhen Drama Festival; Those who like DIY are especially recommended to play in the dyehouse. They can operate and learn how to make blue calico by themselves. They can also make small puppets with calico!

5. Calculation: the transportation cost (train ticket + taxi round trip) is about 1200 yuan / person, the accommodation cost is about 800 yuan / Room / day (this is the price of water pillow, if you live in B & B, it will be cheaper), the catering cost is 100 yuan / person / day, the entertainment cost is 150 yuan / person, and the cruise cost is 300 yuan / piece (50 yuan / person)

It's said that Gubeikou ancient town near Beijing is also developed, designed and operated according to Wuzhen mode. I'm looking forward to waiting for it to open. It can save a lot of transportation expenses. Ha ha.
